New Beachfront Promenade in Dubai Welcomes Visitors

DUBAI – Palm West Beach, a walkable waterfront promenade stretching for 1.6 kilometers with over 300 palm trees and fountains, is open for visitors.

The beach faces the Dubai Marina skyline in Palm Jumeirah and offers watersport activities such as paddle boarding and canoeing for children and adults.

The leisure destination is lined with bungalow-style restaurants and bars serving various cuisines and shops selling beachwear and accessories.

Additionally, residential apartments and eight five-star hotels are expected to open across the waterfront.

“We receive many tourists and residents, especially in the summer, to sunbathe on the beach and cool off in the water,” said Nyare Musa, a vendor selling coconut water at the promenade.

Families can rent bicycles to get around the location and park their cars in covered facilities containing over 500 spaces.

Dogs must always be on a leash at the pet-friendly venue and are not allowed to swim in the sea.

Barbecuing, lighting fires and camping overnight on the beach are not permitted, and guests must adhere to COVID-19 precautionary measures.
